Sungu “Blank” Kang started his career in China in late 2014. After being relegated from the LPL as a member of Star Horn Royal Club, Blank left the team to join SK Telecom in late 2015. He didn’t exactly impress with his first few games in the LCK, but when the team took him to IEM he excelled and the team finished the tournament unbeaten. Just like that, Blank added his first trophy to his resume.
His performances seem to be consistently improving, and SK Telecom opted to keep playing him over the struggling veteran, Bengi. In his first split as an LCK jungler, he took first in Champions Spring, yet in the Summer Split it was clear that he was still learning how to control vision across the map. He took a back seat to Bengi during SKT's third World Championship run. While Bengi has departed, now Blank will have to compete with superstar jungler Peanut if he wants playing time in 2017.
