NA LCS All-Stars: Top Laner

Biography

Former World Champion Eonyoung “Impact” Jeong isn’t quite ready to hang up the mouse and keyboard. The former SK Telecom T1 top laner put on a show in the 2016 NA LCS Playoffs, proving no other top laner in North America measured up. While his regular season was uninspiring, he almost singlehandedly earned Cloud9 a spot at the 2016 World Championship.

Unfortunately, Impact struggled to find his groove on the world stage. Cloud9 was the only NA team to earn a quarterfinals berth, but they were quickly eliminated by Samsung Galaxy. This Spring Split, Impact will be looking to elevate his game even further. He’ll also be taking a new teammate, Ray, under his wing. With such talent in the top lane, Cloud9’s opponents’ nightmares will be just two words, repeating forever: “top die.”
