Samson "Lourlo" Jackson made his LCS debut in the 2016 NA LCS Spring Split when he was known as Lourlo. His previous experience with CLG Black prepared him for the jump from semi-pro to pro, and while he didn’t stand out, it’s hard to blame him - with Dardoch and Piglet on your team, it’s hard to get attention.
Yet analysts and fans noticed Lourlo’s rock solid dedication. Even when Liquid had a rough game, Lourlo was playing his heart out. His commitment to constantly bettering himself led to him netting more consistent performances. He may not be the flashiest player on the Rift, but you’d be hard pressed to find anyone that works harder. Team Liquid kept him on board during their roster shuffle, cementing that they believe Lourlo still has heaps of potential that they’re keen to unlock.
