EU LCS Summer Split 2018 is coming

The EU LCS Summer Split will return in June. Just like the Spring Split, matches will be played on Fridays and Saturdays in a Bo1 format. Read on for more information about the teams, the stakes, and the tickets!

EU LCS Summer Split 2018

Format

The format remains unchanged! Teams will still be battling it out against one another on Fridays and Saturdays in Bo1 matches. During the 9-week long regular season full of competition at the highest level, each team will face the same opponent twice.

How to watch?

You can watch the EU LCS on our website, where you can find broadcasts and other sources in different languages. If you are looking for English coverage with your favourite commentators and Sjokz, check out the official Riot Games channel on YouTube or Twitch!

Tickets

Summer Split will once again be held at the Riot Games Studio in Berlin. Tickets will be available soon on our page at Eventbrite, and more will be added as we get deeper into the season.

Stakes

The stakes during the Summer Split are even higher, as the team who wins automatically advances to the Worlds 2018. As for the remaining teams, they will have to settle for Championship Points and prize money.

The winner of the Summer Split and the team with the most Championship Points will automatically advance to the Worlds, and the next 4 teams will fight for a place in the regional finals. More info coming soon!
