The inauguration of the freshly redesigned League of Legends European Championship is nearly here, and we have been working to level up the viewer experience for LoL Esports fans throughout the world. Aside from a freshly redesigned English language broadcast operating out of the LEC Arena in Berlin, we are excited to announce revamped viewership experiences in five other languages with our 2019 LEC European Broadcast Partners!

Redefining Partnership

For the upcoming season, we are deliberately reworking our approach to who our Broadcast Partners are and the support that we provide them. As we continue to move into long-term business partnerships with teams, sponsors, and broadcast partners, we lay the foundations for a sustainable and scalable ecosystem for the LEC for the years to come.

This year and beyond, we are working closely with each of our partners to help level them up. This includes improving the technical quality of their broadcasts, offering opportunities to be on-site in Berlin and providing financial stability through joint sponsorship deals.

Further, we are also excited to provide our partners with access to new internal assets and tools, which will enable them to produce even more original, exclusive local language content that focuses on what their viewers care about the most.

Whichever stream you watch, we cannot wait to fill your screens with action when the LEC kicks off on Friday January 18th at 18:00 CET!
