Rise Again: The concept behind the 2018 EU LCS Spring Split promo video

EU LCS is back on Friday January 19th, and it’s more competitive than ever.

Every team has changed - no roster has been left untouched. All ten squads are ready to push their skills to the limit to achieve their goal: becoming the EU LCS champions. With major roster shake-ups, international signings, and new organizations entering the fray, who will rise in the most competitive season of EU LCS to date?

We took a look at four powerful stories of EU LCS veterans, each with their own unique obstacles and drive...

REKKLES: Emotions.

Rekkles’s emotions have been dragged into the spotlight on an international stage, and he has opened up publicly about his struggle in becoming the leader of Fnatic. When you crave victory as badly as him, defeats are a crushing blow - but he will never give up.

Vizicsacsi is an EU LCS veteran, but after four years on the Unicorns of Love he remains without a title to prove his talent. Now, he’s placing his bets on moving to FC Schalke 04, an organisation he believes will help him show the world in 2018 that he’s a winner.

MAXLORE: Ambition.

During their first year in the EU LCS, Misfits have pivoted hard from being underdogs to becoming top tier contenders. After an incredible performance on the World Championship stage, all eyes are on them this year- and they’re expected to dominate the competition.

PERKZ: Resilience.

Perkz alone remains from G2's legendary roster, but now he has to rebuild the entire team around him. With a mixture of excitement and nerves, will he be able to rise up to the challenge of keeping the trophy and continuing the G2 era?
