Chanyong “Ambition” Kang may be the most storied player to never reach the World Championships. He began his career in 2011 and quickly became known as one of the most consistent mid laners in Korea. After years at the position, Ambition changed roles and became the starting jungler for CJ Entus.
While he was a consistent mid laner, jungle proved to be a challenge for him, and he became known as an easy first blood target. Dedication and hard practice paid off over time and after Ambition made his move to Samsung Galaxy at the tail-end of 2015, his performances finally started improving. After an impressive showing at the 2016 World Championship, he's looking to make a return trip to the biggest stage in 2017.
