Scout started his career as an understudy to both Faker and Pawn before becoming EDG’s backbone -- this transition only took him a year. Before he was a professional player, Scout was a Solo Queue star who mastered assassin type champions.
After his first Worlds with the team in 2016, Scout buckled down and developed into a consistent starter throughout 2017. With his reliability in the mid lane, Scout is now the team’s safety net instead of being a wildcard. His improvement has led to him being awarded MVP for the 2017 LPL Summer Split Final. He’ll ride that momentum into Worlds once again.
