Patrick “Sheriff” Jiru got his professional start in League of Legends in late 2016. From there, it was a quick rise in the ranks for the talented AD Carry, who was quickly picked up by H2K in late 2017.
The rest has written itself. Sheriff has shown explosive playmaking ability, coupled with mechanics that rival the best in Europe. It’s hard to show that off when your team is free falling into oblivion, which is what H2K seemed set to do in the 2018 EU LCS Spring Split. But after the infusion of more talent, Sheriff was free to spread his wings and show what he was made of. Sometimes he would sputter out before he would catch flight, but it’s no secret that he’s got tons of promise. If he can put it all together, he’s on track to be one scary lane opponent.
